Hammer springs quake

A magnitude 7.5 earthquake hit near Hammer Springs, and was widely felt in both the South and North Islands.

The Pakistan cricket team is in New Zealand. The team, which was in a Nelson hotel at the time of the quake, is OK but a bit shaken.

Pakistan management say their cricketers are fine after a "scary" overnight earthquake and are expecting to fly to Christchurch as scheduled on Monday afternoon.

Wellington's Basin Reserve is being inspected by officials, with a strong likelihood the four-day Plunket Shield match between Wellington and Central Districts, scheduled to start at 10.30am, will be delayed or postponed

In 14th of november early in the morning, around 1:30 a earthquake hit and it was 7.5 magnitude , 20 kilometres north of Hanmer Springs It was pretty bad for some people. It had casualties of 2 people dead and building topply over. (going over to luc, some person who felt the earthquake)

“My family and I suffered severe Casualties including House breakdowns and Rolling out of beds,one Kid suffering brain bleeds.” said Luc and calling for wellington... “wyatt what is your story?” said the radio man “Me and my family had to evacuate to Higher Ground to make sure there's no casualties.” “Coming in ,quickly evacuate if you're near the Waterside there may be a tsunami “  Now turning to a local farmer,  Ivan so tell us your story” “Well we evacuated because I actually really was scared about the earthquake and it was wasn’t fun if you put it this way. And I'm actually glad all the animals Are safe and not got besides 2 people hurt”

As you can see the rating shows a very high rating.

But this is just a simple earthquake we will repair All the damage that has happened To Christchurch and Wellington But if anything happens like this again be safe and be cautious! And there was no Tsunami but stay away beaches.

On the first of 2016 three adults were going on a holiday for the month they were packing up then six kids came running up to their parent saying “don’t go i want you to stay here” and the adults say” grandma is coming here to look after you for the month we are gone”

Nooooooooooooooo .guys we have to leave in  three hours ok good bye kids bye mum and dad we will miss you guys  i am finished packing the car ok we will be there in a minute

After we say goodbye  kids the door shut i am going to miss them it's ok how wants music  me ok one hour later  ok now that we are on the plane we can sit down what are you talking about we have been sitting down for one hour  now we have to sit for 3 days watching tv all day and eat food  that sounds fun to me i will do it well we only have 2 hours till we go to sleep 2 hours later this is your captain speaking we are about to crash land in south africa ahhhhhhhhhh we are going to die i know ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Bang bang bang bang 2 days later the three adults are moaning on the ground  what happened wait where are we that are panting so hard that they fell to the ground again

But the women smacked them in the face and said get up we have some surviving to do

Ok but want will we use  the plane that rust bucket ok you find something ok i will it took him 2 min to look for something and he found nothing then a roar came we all got scared he said ok the rust bucket is find ok let’s go  when we got in in was not that bad

When they see the engine was still working it was a relief then they had to move it  away

From the serf face then build a jetty so guys we have to patch up the holes ok

That will be easy we can use the back of the plane to do that ok let’s go and live

Back at home the children are hating their time with grandma “mum dad save us now “...
